Research

Three teams of about thirty researchers, about sixty engineers, technicians and students are developing study programs in ecology on wild animals in their natural environment.

The relationship between agriculture and biodiversity is at the heart of the Agripop team’s research. It focuses its research on an alternative to the prevailing productivist model, taken up under the concept of agro-ecology.

AGRIPOP

The Ecophy team studies how animals respond to environmental stressors: climate change, habitat degradation, pollution. It studies physiological mechanisms.

ECOPHY

The main activity of the Team’s research program is the study of the effects of global change on marine ecosystems, using birds and mammals as sentinels.
